On June 14th, 2021 “Herti” AD received the approval of the project “GALP Greener ALuminum Cap (Implementation of green innovative production processes under Industry 4.0)”
On June 14th, 2021 “Herti” AD received the approval of the project “GALP Greener ALuminum Cap (Implementation of green innovative production processes under Industry 4.0)” supported by the Norway Grants 2014-2021, in the frame of the Business Development, Innovation and SMEs, Bulgaria.
The project will be implemented in Pliska, Bulgaria in the next 18 months. The project budget is 1 703 540 Euro and the grant amount is 800 000 Euro, representing 46,96% of the eligible costs of the project.
The overall objective of the project “GALP Greener ALuminum Cap (Implementation of green innovative production processes under Industry 4.0)” is to increase the competitiveness “Herti” AD by introducing a new innovative process of printing line for decoration of aluminium sheets, equipment for coating and varnishing of aluminum sheets and implementation of industry 4.0. As results the project will achieve optimized production, increased capacity, improved product quality, shorter production and delivery times, reduced costs and a positive environmental effect. The new equipment will reduce gas consumption by 20% which will decrease emissions by 329 tons CO2 per year.
In addition, the project activities will enhance business cooperation between Bulgarian and Norwegian entities by providing good Norwegian practices for a development involving a new knowledge (Industry 4.0).
